You Will Need
  • Polymer clay
  • Talcum power
  • Roller or pasta machine
  • Fabric for texturing

    1.Roll out the clay to 2 mm thick or less. Place the clay on a work surfacelightly dusted with talcum power.Lay the fabric on the clay and roll over it firmly with your roller. Pell off the fabric to leave the impression.
    2.If you bake the impressed sheets flat,you can then use them to make a positive impression on another sheet of clay.Here, the sheet impressed with bobbin lace has been used to impress the black clay.You can then pick out the relief of the delicate lace froms by brushing on gold was paste, metallic powders,or pastels.
