Lace

You Will Need
  • Polymer clay:white
  • Roller
  • Talcum powder
  • Scolloped cookie(pastry) cutter
  • Large needle

    1.Rol out a thin strip of clay, in 2mm thick, in 10 mm wide and as long asrequired. Cut along one long side with the cookie cutter to give a salloped edge.Use talcum powder to prevent sticking.
    2.Use the needle to make a line of punctured holes along the scolloped edge of the lace.Then make little clusters of holes at regular intervals to decoratethe lace further.It is a good idea to look at different types of lace to give you ideas for making your own.The lace strip can then be either gathered or frilled.
